It's not just the place that protects me, it's a place I have to protect.
“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” ― Chief Seattle
Earth, our home, is the only planet we know of that supports life. We need to make sure we preserve it for the generations to come. Even though there are numerous problems the Earth is facing, and it may seem like one person could never do enough to make a difference, every little thing we do counts. Even the smallest actions, such as going outside our homes, and cleaning up someone else's mess can make our world a better place.

We may not be responsible for the problems we need to solve. The deforestation in the picture did not happen because you decided to cut down trees in a forest. However, the consequences of the deforestation effect us all, and we are all responsible for fixing the problems it causes. The below video by Greenpeace always inspires me to take action to protect and fix the Earth. Your inspiration may be a desire to save beautiful animals, breathe cleaner air, or repay a debt to this great planet that gives us life. Whatever your reason, we all need to come together to take action.
